We are looking for SQL Server DBA with Performance Tunning with one of our client

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 12+ Months

MS SQL Server Database Administrator

Specific responsibilities include:

• Perform day to day and long-term monitoring of system health as it relates to database usage and performance.

• Perform research into database performance issues and come up with solutions to address those concerns.

• Respond to requests for data from internal users in a timely fashion.

• Perform database health checks using SQL Extended Events, performance monitor, and DBCC commands.

Required Skills and Experience:	Candidate Years of Experience
7+ years in Database Design, Development, Administration of MS SQL Server in Production, Development and QA environments.	<Insert Yrs./Mons. Experience>
Must be expert in database Performance Tuning, using tuning methodology, including query plans, DMVs, trace files and other SQL Server tools.	<Insert Yrs./Mons. Experience>
Excellent analytical, Interpersonal and Communication skills, fast learner, hardworking and good team player.	<Insert Yrs./Mons. Experience>
Expert in writing T-SQL, including complex stored procedures, functions, views and triggers.	<Insert Yrs./Mons. Experience>
Good knowledge of configuration management concepts, release management, change management concepts, industry standards and best practices	<Insert Yrs./Mons. Experience>
Experience in fine tuning indexes for performance improvement.	<Insert Yrs. Experience>
Experience implementing data partitioning to improve performance.	<Insert Yrs. Experience>
Preferred Skills and Experience:	Candidate Years of Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.	<Insert Yes/No>
