Job Title: Sr. Test Engineer/ Architect
Location: Houston, TX (Preferred Locals)
Position: Onsite
Job Type: W2/C2C
Skills:
Performance Engineering Expertise:
Strong understanding of performance bottlenecks (e.g., CPU, memory, disk, network) and tuning techniques.
Experience in optimizing application performance across various layers (front-end, back-end, database, APIs).
Tool Proficiency:
Deep knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
Experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, Site scope).
Ability to assess the environment and suggest appropriate testing tools.
Environment and Infrastructure Expertise:
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualized environments.
Expertise in setting up and configuring test environments and load generation agents.
Architectural Design:
Ability to design scalable and reusable performance test frameworks.
Knowledge of system architecture to analyze and test critical paths.
