 Description:

**Strong Webcenter and SOA experience required** Prepare installation, configuration, and upgrading of Middleware Platforms and manage patches and software upgrades. Conduct user account management and monitor and maintain the health of server environments. Perform tuning and performance monitoring and application deployments. Manage the support of application development teams, including tuning troubleshooting, and optimization. Prepare and maintain documentation and standards and present technical briefings to the client. Manage plan growth and changes, including capacity planning and support end users with access issues. Basic Qualifications: • 8 years of experience with working in Middleware Platforms (IBM WebSphere Portal, IBM WebSphere Application Server, RH Jboss EAP, RH Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic Server, Microsoft IIS, Apache, IBM HTTP Server and IBM MQ); including installation and configuration and administration on Windows and Linux environments. • Strong technical skills Microsoft IIS, IBM WebSphere Application Server, RH Jboss EAP, RH Tomcat. • Must have hands on experience in Security Content configuration in Middleware products. • Provide assistance with application configuration issues and troubleshooting. • Configure Middleware Platform security in line with NGS policies, documentation, and requirements. • Partner with NGS IT teams to accomplish critical tasking. • Respond to identified security issues and Provide audit support. • Work with vendor support to resolve issues with the supported platforms. • Standardize and consolidate installations of all supported platforms • Experience with monitoring, performance tuning, and maintenance for outstanding troubleshooting capabilities • Experience with supporting the certification and accreditation process, analyzing SOPs and operations manuals, and assisting with capacity planning • Experience with operating in traditional and agile project models • BA or BS degree required Additional Qualifications: • Experience working in government contracting sector. • Experience with an automated build and deployment tools. • MA or MS degree in CS, Software Engineering, or a related field • Certified in any Middleware Platforms mentioned above or other relevant technical certification.
