Position summary:

Job Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in Java Development

• Proficiency and demonstrated experience in the following technologies:

o J2EE technologies: Java, JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC, EJB

o Database and persistence frameworks: Hibernate, Oracle, Object/Relational Mapping, Query performance tuning

o Cloud-based development: IBM Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker containerization

o Web Servers: Tomcat, tcServer

o Web Services: REST/SOAP (JSON/WSDL/XML)

o Frameworks: Spring Framework, Spring Boot

o Front-end: Angular/React, NodeJS, Ext JS, CSS,jQuery, AJAX

o Build/deployment tools: Maven, Gradel, Git, Junit, Mockito

o Other Dev Ops Toolchain: Selenium, SonarQube, Slack, GitHub, GitHubActions, AzureDevops.

• Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Experience in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM

• Experience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration

 

Top Skills to Have (must be showcased on resume):

• Back end - Java, Springboot, Microservices

• Front end - Angular/React, Ext JS, CSS,jQuery, AJAX

• Cloud-based development: IBM Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker containerization

• 2 years of Kubernetes Services with a deep understanding of Container Orchestration and Distributed System Concepts

 

Years of experience required: 7+
