Position: Java Architect
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 3+ months strong possibility of extension

INTERVIEW: phone & Face To Face CHICAGO, IL
Must have US Citizen or GC Holder or H1B(Need copy for submission)

Evaluate current client application architecture and identify opportunities to ease and enhance configuration, extensibility and maintenance.
Partnering with developers, lead necessary design activities, coach developers on industry best practices, create development estimates and plan, conduct code reviews to ensure design is

implemented per specifications.
Document application architecture.
As part of architecture evaluation, consider:
Moving from Struts 1.0 to Spring
Upgrading Hibernate/C3P0, other application dependencies
Should Javascript be refactored? Are there benefits to using additional Javascript frameworks?
Opportunities to componentize application
Opportunities for making the application configuration-driven
Application packaging for ease of configuration and deployment
Interaction with client's Mobile application
Individual should have demonstrated experience with Java frameworks, particularly Spring, and requires strong leadership and communication skills
