Position :  Mainframe Admin

Qualifications:
The Mainframe Service teams are looking for a highly motivated systems analyst with the ability to: • Support a large mainframe environment with working experience in one or more of the following: o DB2 for z/OS o CICS o Mainframe Storage o Mainframe Development tooling (IDZ, RTC, UCD, etc.,) o WebSphere MQ o z/OS Operating System o z/OS Connect • Experience researching and debugging system problems • Work with vendors on problem resolution by gathering accurate and enough documentation and understanding the issue thoroughly enough to ensure the vendor is on target and handling the problem with appropriate priority. • Experience with one or more of the following programming and scripting languages: o COBOL o Assembler o Java o REXX o JCL • Thrive on solving unique problems using advanced analytical skills • The candidate should display the ability and willingness to learn new skills and processes as we look at modernization our mainframe infrastructure environment For positions with Principal Global Investors, you will be required to comply with a Code of Ethics which covers a number of obligations related to personal and business conduct as well as personal trading activities for you and members of your household. Responsibilities: 
In this role you will be responsible for maintaining, debugging, monitoring, implementing, testing, tuning, documenting, and providing technical support and leadership for the various products within the mainframe space. Depending on qualifications you may be asked to focus on a specific subset of products. Some products/features will require business unit interactions. Being on an 24/7 on-call rotation may be required. Must possess a desire/passion for low-level problem solving, complex issue resolution and infrastructure development. The ideal candidate will have an interest in continual learning and driving technology requested by our business partners.
