Position summary:

Client is looking for a Security Architect who can help design, architect and establish security controls for newly deployed applications onsite and over cloud. This is not a hands on role, but more an advisory and solution architect/advisor role.

 

Primary Role - Work with our Wish teams to assess risk and relative priority of security initiatives, and lead execution on those initiatives.

Help establish security best practices across the company

Analyze our security posture, identify gaps, and work closely with other teams to ensure strong operational security

Lead complex security projects from design through implementation and maintenance

Participate in design and implementation reviews of security and infrastructure projects

Participate in low volume on-call rotation

In future work with offshore Cognizant team of security engineers and analysts

Skills/Experience –

This is a purely Security role and experience in Threat modelling, Security review, design/architecture and application review for security findings is needed (no dev experience necessary but nice to have).

Good to have a security tool experience such as Palo Alto Firewall, VPN and other host based and internet gateway security tools but not mandatory.

Recommend at least 5-10 years of security experience.

Expertise in a broad range of security technologies and protocols, such as PKI, TLS, VPN, HSM, MFA, AAA, 802.1x, SSO, SSH, firewalls, cryptography (Broad understanding and not an in depth knowledge)

Good understanding and Experience working in AWS or other similar cloud environments. Client is leveraging AWS native available security tools and functionalities to secure application.

Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
