Azure Solution Architect – Azure Cloud JOB DESCRIPTION :

 ESSENTIAL SKILL :: JAVA - J2EE

Key skills required for the job are (Mandatory vs Secondary)

•             Java-J2EE/Core Java J2SE

•             Spring Core and MVC

•             Spring Boot

•             Servlets/JSP

•             Maven

•             JDBC, JPA, Hibernate

•             Web server and containers: Apache, Nginx, Tomcat

•             Markup languages: XML and JSON

•             Service-oriented architecture/web services (SOAP/REST)

•             Cloud experience: Azure or AWS

•             Microservice architecture

•             IDE: Eclipse or IntelliJ

•             Web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery

•             RWD: Angular or React

•             CI/CD pipeline: Jenkins, Teamcity

•             Azure Kubernetes services, Docker

•             Multithreading and synchronization

 

As a Solution Architect, you are responsible for managing 10-20 team of developers and driving delivery of modules within a project (Delivery/Maintenance/Testing). You may serve as an entry level specialist with expertise in a particular technology/industry domain/a process / application / product. You are responsible for the functional/technical track of a project and mentoring junior staff.

The candidate must be extremely hand-on with an excellent design, code tracing and debugging skill to understand the program structure, find out root cause of the issue and provide quick solutions that implement the fixes or new features to migrate and refactor on-premises applications to public cloud. The candidate must process good verbal and written communication skills, shall have experience in deploying and maintaining Java based Web Applications.

Other Responsibilities/Skills:

 

•             Responsible for complete end-to-end delivery for assigned cloud applications.

•             Experience in release management.

•             Client Interaction and coordination.

•             Architecture and solution presentation & demo.

•             Onsite/Offshore coordination.

•             Good communication and articulation skills

•             Stakeholder management skills

•             Connect with tech lead two times in a week.

•             Work on resolving tech issues which was reported by Tech Leads

•             Work on target design architecture diagram and walkthrough with stakeholders.

•             Work on upgrading the overall UBS architecture and road map.

•             Prepare timelines needed for application based on discussion with tech leads

•             Make sure timelines are met.

•             Drive escalation calls and provide confidence to customers showcasing tech capabilities.

•             Connect with the project manager on a regular basis and understand RACI/RAID and ensure everything is under control.

•             Attend weekly customer governance calls.

•             Coordinate with the delivery assurance team.

•             Attend DD calls and prepare inventory and decide on target stack.

•             Estimate efforts for migration.

•             Work on possible automation scope and prepare a plan and execute along with the tech team.
