Software Developer (AWS) at San Jose, CA

Experience on microservices architecture
Experience on SQL and NoSQL database technologies
Experience on AWS web services.

Title: Software Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA

Length of the Assignment: Long Term Contract

Education Required: Bachelor’s / Masters

Job Description:

· Experience in building and deploying large-scale cloud systems based using AWS Web Services. Extensive programming experience in Java and REST APIs.

· Experience in micro-services architecture is critical.

· Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL DB technologies – Oracle, PostgreSQL, InfluxDB. Experience in messaging protocols like MQTT and AMQP is desirable.

· Using development infrastructure tools, such as Jenkins, git, gerrit, JIRA.

· Working knowledge of Agile Development or enthusiasm and passion for learning.

Good to have skills:

· Moderate experience with multiple scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Bash, Ruby.

· Good working knowledge of cloud security and web security.

· Understanding of networking, sensor management is a plus.
