Role: Data Architect
Location: Roseville CA

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Responsibilities:

Leads the strategy and execution for the data gap solution by taking into consideration of client’s business case, objectives, requirements, and constraints
Assesses the readiness of the Data Gap Analysis environment, including the data models, tools, processes, and resource requirements
Identifies the technical risks, communicating those risks and recommending solutions that mitigate the risk to DXC
Viewed as the trusted advisor to lead analysis of the solution technical environment, assess current state, identify future state, conduct gap analysis, create and communicate the vision,  and recommend prioritization from an architecture perspective.
Assesses the readiness of the technical environment (including the systems, tools, technologies, processes, and resource requirements) to implement the architecture.
Proposes, recommends or facilitates the selection of appropriate tools, techniques, and resources for all technical components of the solution.
Responsible for identifying technical risks, communicating those risks and recommending solutions that mitigate the risk to the client and to DXC.
Completes the solution architecture documentation for the project.
Recommends and enforces technical standards and architecture for the project.
Guides the design and implementation of the solution from a technical perspective.
Oversees other technical deliverable artifacts needed for project implementation.
Monitors the data quality/profiling application and queries.
Ensures the collected data is within required quality standards.
Provides input to the development of data/information quality metrics.
Follows established SDLC, change control, release management and incident management processes

Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize work and manage competing deadlines
Excellent critical thinking 
Ability to deal with ambiguity
Provides technical architecture domain expertise with the Source and/or Target system'

Strong Data architecture background with BIDW background

Can define future roadmap for BIDW area for the customer.

Come up with ideas on transformation as technology may be agnostic for future.

Knowledge with healthcare and Medicaid experience preferred.

Good knowledge on Data modelling tools like Erwin.

Strong communication and leadership skills

Can manage projects if required as PM.
