Greetings,
Position: Java Developer
Location: Tempe, AZ
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Must be Local to AZ
Only US Citizen or GC or H1B( Need copy for submission)
Onsite opening in AZ. Interviews will be held via Phone & FTF.
Job Description-
Participates in development, testing, and debugging new system modules or enhancements to existing application
Designs and develops solutions to solve complex problems considering software/hardware capacity and limitations, operating time and desired results
Develops large-scale applications leveraging J2EE
Analyzes problems and provides recommendations for application and system improvements
Works with peers, senior staff and business analysts to create project specification and determine implementation details
Partners with business to design and develop optimal solutions
Work with a team to create project estimates based on business requirements
Expected to participate in complete project lifecycle up to and including project implementation
Qualifications:
At least 8+ years of development experience
6+ years of Java experience
Experience with a variety of technologies including: UNIX, Windows, SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript, Java, J2EE, Oracle 9i/10g/11g, Eclipse, TOAD, OC4J, WebLogic application server
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS or Engineering/Technology or related field or equivalent experience/training
Ability to effectively meet deadlines and prioritize projects in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
Must be well organized, thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment, leverage best practices, and most importantly, innovate through any problem with a can-do attitude
Proficient in MS Office applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
