Job Description:

Jr/Mid Cognos Developer

Remote - Relocate to Irving, TX eventually

6 months

 

No OPT/CPT

 

• Hiring developer for delivery on transportation side
• 2-4 years of experience as a Cognos Developer with some experience with Tableau reporting - Writes/ edits Cognos code based on technical/ requirement specifications. Submits code in central repository and writes unit test cases.
• BI reporting and Tableau will be needed in the future in this role, Jr. Cognos Developer
• Nice to have: migration experience from Cognos 8 to Cognos 11
• Upgrading, in the middle of migration, Tableau and Snowflake environments
• Manager wants this developer for over 2 years, the position will eventually explore Snowflake, and the manager someone willing to learn
• Cognos reporting is a huge need, migrate over to Tableau/Snowflake later down the line
• Warehouse Management system (infrastructure team)
• WMS platforms, they use a home grown application for distribution centers
• This person must be able to Adapt Quickly…migrating and sustaining environment. Migration and reporting
• Relocate to Irving, TX eventually
