Scope of Work
The Business Process Analyst - COE supports the current and future SAP landscape supporting business processes. This role will support production processes necessary to configure SAP to meet business requirements for Commercial Operations and Order to Cash functionality. This position works closely with the assigned core functional process team to research, analyze, design and develop solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies. This position facilitates and gathers user requirements to determine best practice business processes for the assigned functional process area to develop and deliver efficient and effective business solutions. It designs for existing and/or new reports, forms, interfaces, workflows and data conversions. This position also leads and/or supports the testing of end-to-end business processes to confirm the process and solutions meet requirements and resolve defects. This position supports the enhancements identified by the business and works towards global standardization where possible and variances where absolutely necessary.

Process Design and Development
Resource reviews current state functional production processes to understand and establish critical business functions that need to be implemented as part of requested enhancements.
Resource documents functional production process requirements to maintain or improve business process performance.
Resource works with functional groups to identify key process metrics which will be monitored through implementation to facilitate a smooth transition and ongoing continuous improvement of business processes.
Resource conducts workshops to validate business processes and drive consensus on solutions with the end-user community.
Resource develops and maintains documentation around business processes and flows, improvements, and functional specifications.
Project Management
Resource follows the project methodology and issue escalation processes to meet deliverables.
System Interaction
Resource assists with mapping existing data to new environment.
Resource assists with documenting and delivering detailed specification development for interfaces, reports, forms, workflows and conversions.
Resource develops/modifies complete and thorough test scripts to enable the flawless execution of integration testing for enhancements and also regression testing when necessary.
Resource documents all problems/errors identified in testing and monitor through to resolution and retesting.
