Job: Sr. Data Insights ETL Developer
Location: Northbrook, IL
Duration: 6 to 12 Months
VISA: USC, GC, GCEAD, H1B Only
Sr Data Insights ETL Developer will be
responsible for diagnosing ETL process performance issues, recommending design
changes and implementing best practices.
Ideal
candidate will work closely with the architects, ETL developers, Data Analysts
and DBA's to diagnose, analyze, optimize data flows from operational systems to
Data warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Working experience in query and data optimization techniques such as in-memory
cache, data partitioning, snapshots and working with Duck Creek Data Insights
Data warehouse
•
Excellent understanding of ETL and EDW toolsets on the Duck Creek Data Insights
toolset
•
Working knowledge on Duck Creek Insight product overall architecture flow, Data
hub and Extract mapper
•
Strong understanding of Data modelling, data warehousing, data marts, Business
Intelligence with ability to solve business problems
•
Understanding of data related to business application areas policy, billing,
and claims business solutions
Technical Experience:
•
2 years of working experience on Duck
Creek Insights product, T-SQL and XML
•
5+ years of hands on working experience with SSIS or similar ETL tool to
create data integrations
•
5+ years of experience developing complex stored procedures, triggers,
views and key database assets including performance optimization and large data
processing using T-SQL.
•
5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise, including
experience with 2016 or newer, and an understanding of industry best practices.
•
3+ years of experience in data modeling, database operations including
performance optimization and large data processing.
•
3+ years of experience implementing Data Warehouses and Data Marts
•
Experience designing and implementing data models in a cloud-based architecture
is a plus
•
Excellent knowledge and proven skills of designing tables such as fact,
snapshot and dimension (including but not limited to slowly changing dimension
designs)
Professional Attributes:
•
Should have Good Communication skills
•
Should strong SQL Server, SSIS ETL Jobs and SQL query performance tuning skills
•
Should have good Analytical Skills
