Position: Power BI developer

Location: Quincy, MA

Type: log term contract

Rate: 50/hr.

Position summary

 

• 5+ years’ Experience in working with Data Analytics tools such Power BI, Tableau, Apache Spark or QlikView
• Very good understanding of SQL language and able to run queries independently
• Good knowledge about data ingestion - Responsible for getting data into Data platforms which will be consumed by Downstream applications
• Experience Working with business teams to understand what net new reporting needs to be developed to provide greater insight and coordinates delivery with development teams
• Ability and experience working with descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics
• Ability to mine data from primary and secondary sources
• Ability to translate complex theory and lingo into clear and simple information for stakeholders
• Proven ability to deliver data analysis documentation to the stakeholder level using visuals and dashboards where appropriate
• Strong collaboration skills to work alongside product, development, QA, and designer teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance
• Strong analytical, problem resolution, and decision-making skills
