We are looking for a Scrum Master to join our project
team. This position will be based in Merrimack, NH.
The Fidelity Benefits Marketplace (FBM) Technology group is
actively seeking an experienced Scrum Master to assist with software
engineering across multiple applications servicing our internal and external
business partners and clients.
The Scrum Master is a member of an Agile scrum team whose
primary responsibility is to ensure that the self-organizing, self-managing
team understands and adheres to Scrum principles, practices and
guidelines. The Scrum Master coordinates interactions across teams and
stakeholders to maximize the overall value delivered by the team.
As a Scrum Master within the Fidelity Benefits Marketplace
Technology Team, you will be engaged in a highly dynamic group that responds to
customer and business needs. The team fills a critical role to provide
expertise that spans the breadth and depth of the technology and functional
domains that support customers and internal business partners
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be the Scrum Master on a scrum
team responsible for delivering functionality for use by our internal business
partners (Client Services, Operations and Implementation Teams) as well as by
our external clients. The role demands significant Collaboration
with members of various business and IT groups.
As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate all standard scrum
ceremonies such as grooming, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, daily
stand-ups and quarterly program increment planning. Through each sprint
and quarterly program increment, you will report progress and impediments to
various levels of the organization.
To be successful in this role, you will develop strong Relationships
with business and technology leads, based on a solid understanding of business
objectives, technology challenges, and status of the FBM functional and
technical portfolio.

- Facilitation of Agile Scrum events
including stand-ups, program increment and sprint planning, release
planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives.
- Plan and Coordinate schedules and resolve
dependencies with other scrum masters and teams as well as with external
teams and providers.

Business partners to understand product objectives, timelines and
requirements and the value they bring to our internal and external
customers.

Required:
- Scrum Master
certification and direct experience with Agile development methodologies
required
- 2-3 years of experience
as a Scrum Master
- Experience working in a matrixed
environment with geographically dispersed project team members is
preferred
- Familiarity with web
development tools like Java, Angular JS, Jenkins, Stash, etc.
- Experience with
practices such as BDD, TDD, Pairing, Mob Programming, Automated Testing
and CI/CD
- Experience working
within a multi-team framework, such as SAFe, Scrum@Scale or LeSS
- Experience using JIRA or
AgileCraft is a plus
- BS or higher education
in Computer Science or equivalent
