Job Description:

Digital Accelerator Software Engineers focus on Cloud infrastructure and software development. This role is a business advocate and interface with variety of technical experts such as DevOps, Architects, Network experts, vendors, providers to arrive at the optimal solution. The incumbent must understand the current business problem and the program's future vision and direction to ideate the best possible cloud solutions.

 

The successful candidate will be expected to:

·         Fully understand the problem to be solved

·         Understand the cost implications

·         Understand the scalability and performance requirements

·         Understand the security and compliance needs

·         Perform detailed research and analyze best possible cloud software design

·         Author full solution architecture documentation that meets the business needs

 

Position Requirements:

·         Minimum of a Bachelors’ Degree is required. Manager would prefer to see degrees in BS in Computer Science and/or Computer Engineering.

·         Candidates should have 7+ years of full stack development experience. Preference will be given to those who demonstrate mastery of modern development patterns leveraging docker containers and/or serverless architecture.

·         Expertise in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.

·         The ability to produce bullet-proof code that is fault-tolerant, efficient and maintainable.

·         Clear understanding of trade-offs in different approaches to solve business problems, ability to communicate and influence emerging designs accordingly.

·         General Technologies (and cloud specific equivalents): Front End User Interface: AngularJS, React, HTML 5, Javascript, CSS 3.0 Business Logic: Java, Python, C, C++, Objective C Back End & Big Data Services: MySQL, BigSQL, SQL, No SQL, Hadoop, Zoo-Keeper
