Job Description
 
Key Skills/Experience:
Expert Level Knowledge in following areas: CRS, ASR9K, other Cisco Routing & Switching Platforms, IP Routing, Internetworking, MPLS, LAN

Switching
Knowledgeable of Advanced Services Program model deliverables and expectations. Be able to articulate value-add to Customers
Undertake support as designated Advanced Services Engineer for Customer networking environments
Must have good Network design skills with strong knowledge of networking fundamentals.
Ability to leverage technical expertise of others
Experience in internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment (BGP OSPF, MPLS)
Must possess strong technical account management skills. Minimum 2 years of experience in Advanced / Professional Services or high-level

support.
Large-scale network design skills
 
Active participant in virtual technology teams within Advanced Services
In-depth knowledge of network management, network availability & capacity planning
Excellent communication skills to assist all levels of customer. Must have excellent written, oral communication and listening skills
Self motivated with excellent leadership skills
Focus on customer needs. Drive to grow Customer Satisfaction
CCIE Certification Preferred
 
Typically requires BS, CS, or University degree equivalent plus 6-8 years experience in network engineering or telecommunications support

environment. Advanced degree strongly preferred.
 
Experience using Cisco Nexus is a plus
