Primary Function

• Prepares and executes IT Compliance testing of new or modified applications/systems across multiple computing environments.
• Applies IT and Compliance knowledge and experience to analyze requirements and develop test cases
• Performs the IT Compliance activities for applications/systems across multiple computing environments.
• Performs the IT Compliance activities for applications/systems across multiple computing environments.
• Prepares documentation per policy and procedure to support the certification of an application/system.
• Provides support to project and IT staff  related to SLC, validation and compliance process and procedures.

 

Core Job Responsibilities

• Translates information from requirement documents/discussions into viable test cases and executes testing
• Develops system documentation (test plans/strategies, other SLC documentation) in support of validation activities
• Coordinates with the project team to develop test plans
• Performs work using standard methodologies, processes and tools to ensure IT Compliance.
• Communicate issues that may delay the project or otherwise subject the company to financial or regulatory risk.
• Completes project tasks within time and budget constraints.
• Capture and report on IT Compliance data and metrics for assigned project tasks and identify potential process improvements
• Ensures IT Compliance tasks stay within project budget and/or estimates.
• No direct or indirect supervisory responsibilities.
• Adheres to established policies and procedures.

 

Maintains productive relationships with peers and management in IT and the business function.

• Works under general supervision and is competent to work independently on most aspects of IT Compliance activities; requires only general direction for the balance of their activities.
• Determines IT Compliance objectives for each assignment. Work is reviewed to determine if desired results and objectives have been achieved

 

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent certification or experience. No Advanced Degree required

 

Experience

2-4 years of experience in a quality systems environment, or equivalent combined work experience. Good analytic capability and the ability to work with both IT management and staff.
