KEY EXPERIENCE: Experience with Cassandra and Spring-Boot
Experience, Training, Licensure, Credentials and Specialized Experience
- 6+ years of leading or architecting enterprise-wide set of solutions
- 3+ years of experience leading a development team in an internal and external IT organization.
- 6+years designing/developing and enterprise wide micro-service architecture that leverages Java, Spring-Boot, and a modern JavaScript framework such as Angular
- Experience with Cassandra data modeling
- Experience with Docker and general containerization
- Experience with systems processing high volumes of transactions
- Design and development experience using stateless, parallel processing design patterns
- Has a strong understanding of Amazon Web Services and DevOps deployments
- Extraordinary verbal and written communication skills
- Ability and readiness to learn the operational details of a global company with a unique business model
Key Responsibilities
The
position provides guidance and in-depth technical/business expertise on
complex technical and management issues and adds measurable value
through planning, coordination and/or communication.
This person will facilitate the evolution of the IT enterprise architecture across the organization for the company’s Enterprise Transformation program. The selected candidate must be a proven technologist, possess development/delivery expertise and strong client relationship management, be a collaborative team member, and ignite passion within the team to build flawless applications.
- Partner with other Solution Architects and members of the development and operations staff, advocate IT organization's technical standards and arch vision to ensure long term road map integrity.
- Participate on a team of cross-functional architects that contain expertise in Java, Cassandra, Angular, Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion Middleware, enterprise security, and infrastructure domains.
- Design efficient technical systems and engineering processes that enable the business to improve its gross margin.
- Participate as a leader to define and implement the new IT development standards
- Lead the architecture team that will be redesigning the underlying systems and infrastructure that will support the new business systems that will be used to run the WFS business. This will all be part of the Transformation Project.
- Help set the technical direction for the team, drive the evolution of the enterprise architecture, and make appropriate technology choices for the Transformation Project.
