position summary:
Extensive hands-on experience to design and implement BI/ETL architecture solutions according to ODI standard practices
Experience in Gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements Experience with Data Warehouse Concepts, Methodologies and SDLC.
Experience in BI with a skill set of ODI 11g and ODI 10g with good understanding of Data Warehousing Concepts and Data Modeling
Experience in working with multiple source/target systems such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, XML files, flat files, MS access/excel documents.
Experience in working with various KMs that are used for with the sources/targets above.
Experience in working with customized knowledge modules
Created ODI BI Solution Architectures to define and agree on the BI/ETL implementation road map, per ODI best practices
Experience in architecting to design and create data marts from various heterogeneous data sources and designed Repository architecture for ODI environments.
Performed ODI Scheduling - monitoring for scheduled reports & error notifications
Performed backup of Repositories using Export Wizard creating XML files. Automating this process within ODI using packages
