1.Position: Hadoop Developer (Day1 Onsite)

Location: Austin,TX/ Fostercity,CA

Duration: Long Term Contract

Note:- OPT & CPT Is Not Workable.

JOB DESCRIPTION:-

·         7+ years of development experience with Hadoop eco-system ( Spark, Scala, Oozie, , Pig, Hive ,HDFS, MapReduce) and/or NoSQL technologies such as Cassandra, MongoDB with experience on real-time & stream processing systems.

·         POC experience or Training won’t be considered.

·         Excellent knowledge of Core Java or UNIX shell script or PL/SQL stored procedures is required

·         Should have knowledge in different Hadoop Distributions like CDH 4 / 5, Hortonworks, MapR, IBM Big Insights.

·         Strong foundational knowledge and experience with a range of Big data components such as Hadoop/Yarn, HDFS,MapReduce,Oozie, Falcon, Pig, Hive, Zookeeper, Sqoop and Flume

·         Develop MapReduce programs or Hadoop streaming.

·         Develop Pig scripts/Hive QL for analysing all semi-structured/unstructured/structured data flows.

·         Should have knowledge of Table definitions, file formats, UDF , Data Layout ( Partitions & Buckets), Debugging & performance optimizations.

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.

2. Position:- Hadoop Admin

Location:- Austin,TX/ Fostercity,CA

Duration: Long Term Contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:-

·         Must have Hands-on experience on managing Multiple Hortonworks Clusters. Troubleshooting, Maintaining and Monitoring is the key responsibility here.

·         Must be conversant in HBase, Open TSDB & Grafana related issues handling in order to ensure the data flow is smooth and consistent.

·         Experience on Kafka for stream processing of Data.

·         Experience in Deployment of new services, patching of hosts etc.

·         Good hands-on experience on Linux (preferably Red hat) server platform .

·         Should have knowledge in at least one of these. GoLang Java Python Shell.

·         Knowledge of Prometheus Service for event monitoring and alerts is good to have.
