The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
- Creation, maintenance, and overall ownership of a combination of waterfall and agile deliverables, including but not limited to scope, requirements, epics, features, user stories, functional diagrams
- Assist in creation of functional and technical design documentation for the Enterprise Event Hub and related capabilities
- Build the team's feature and user story backlogs and assist in their prioritization
- Act as Lead BSA on all Core Modernization-led projects, driving and coordinating deliverables among impacted parties
- Ensure alignment to Core Modernization program objectives throughout the lifecycle of each effort
- Assist in creation and maintenance of Organization Change Management documentation
- Serve on the program's Enterprise Event Hub (EEH) team, whose collective goals are to manage existing Event Hub platform, build new capabilities therein, and support onboarding of applications to the platform.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information science, or related field
- 5 years of experience as business analyst in any type of delivery framework on an agile team writing user stories/requirements
- Agile Methodology
- Agile Scrum Methodology - User Story Writing
- API
- Experienced user of MS Office tools (minimally Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Skills and Experience:
- Event Driven Architecture
- Kafka Streams Processing
- Shared Services
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Strong experience and/or understanding of event driven architecture
- Experience with technologies such as Kafka or similar messaging environment (will relate to Core Modernization's Enterprise Event Hub capabilities)
- Experience or understanding of enterprise data storage concepts (will relate to Core Modernization's Enterprise Event Query Hub capabilities)
- Experience with RESTful microservices or understanding of the concepts associated (will relate to Core Modernization's API Gateway capabilities)
- Ability to collect, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Strong business and technology aptitude with a willingness to learn and understand technology
- Experience working and delivering in an agile environment while supporting applications delivering in a waterfall fashion
