Job Description:

Data Engineering Solution Architect

1.       Data virtualization background, we use Denodo so familiarity with that product would be a hug benefit

2.       Data Catalog background, particularly around Alation

3.       Data Protection background, we use Protegrity so familiarity with that product would be preferrable.

4.       Expert understanding of database query optimizers and their behaviors

5.       Very strong understanding of database capabilities around pooling, access strategies, etc

6.       Coding/scripting experience, example - bash, python

7.       Solid understanding of authentication/authorization models

8.       Strong understanding of PKI encryption

9.       Good understanding of data formats, XML, JSON, Avro, etc.

10.   Expert in technology analysis and troubleshooting

11.   Strong understanding of networking components and protocols

12.   Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 This person will work along side of Sr. Data Engineering SA but this person must be extremely experienced with advanced skills as highlighted above.
