Job Description

• Should have 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java and big data technologies like Hive, Spark, Sqoop, HBase, Kafka, Cassandra to complete POCs, review code and guide the team
• Well versed with Big Data Landscape. Very strong experience in creating big data applications and handling large amount of real time data is preferred..
• Experience in playing the role of a  team lead for at least 2-3 Big Data implementations. Should have experience in handling and processing/storing/analyzing large amount of data
• Experience in implementing Big data platforms on one of the leading distributions (MapR, Cloudera or Hortonworks).
• Should also have good knowledge of Big Data architecture patterns, design patterns, estimation techniques, performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in working in Agile teams.
