Location: Dallas, TX(Day 1 onsite)

Type: long term contract

Position summary:

Job Summary/Responsibilities

• Good understanding of networking technologies within the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model.

• Responsible for overall AWS Network Architecture and Design.

• Ability to setup network connectivity between on-premise and AWS.

• Understanding CIDR blocks and provide recommendation.

• AWS Network optimization strategy.

• Configure site-to-site VPN setup.

• Good understanding of various routing architectures.

• Understanding of AWS encryption services and best practices to secure network communications

• Experience in configuring AWS R53 and AWS WAF.

• Hands-on experience in configuring VPC Peering, NACL, Security Group, TGW, IGW and Direct-Connect Setup.

• Ability to analyze various AWS source of log information, Network Manager dashboard and perform troubleshooting.

• Configure AWS endpoints securely.

• Provisioning of AWS Network Infrastructure using CloudFormation Scripts.

 

What are the top 3 Must Haves for this role?

1. AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty

2. SME AWS Native Services, VPN & Direct Connect Setup

3. Should have knowledge of CloudFormation

 

How many Years of Experience are you looking for?

8 years of experience in Overall Networking and 3 years in AWS.

 

Required Skills

AWS Native Services in Networking Domain – Refer to JD

 

Preferred Skills

3rd party Networking tools.
