Job Description :
Seeking multiple Databricks Engineers for an opportunity at one of our largest
clients in Milwaukee, WI.
These are immediate needs.
Job Summary:
This role will focus on Data Warehousing ETL development in Azure Databricks.
A majority of the transformation logic will be in Databricks. A strong understanding of Data Factory is needed, Data Factory us used for job orchestration and basic ETL functions.
This role will assist in ETL design leveraging standard Data Warehousing techniques and functional programming techniques. Overlap with the Data Factory role is expected.
Strong
in MS Azure Databricks with Database and ADLS (Python, Spark SQL, using
Parquet files)
Good/Strong in MS Azure Data Factory with Databricks
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and its interaction with Databricks and Data
Factory
Good/Working Knowledge of Databricks Delta Lake
Good/Strong understanding of ETL & Data Warehousing concepts
Good understanding of Dimensional Modeling concepts
Good understanding of SQL & DBMS concepts
Good understanding of metadata driven development
