JD:

 

Azure Data Engineer

• Assist in automating data processes to the MS Azure cloud
• Migrate data from legacy systems to the MS Azure cloud
• Design/implement flexible platforms on the MS Azure cloud
• Design, code and implement SSAS cubes on MS Azure cloud
• Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining operational data platforms while working alongside architects and leadership
• Demonstrated experience designing/developing/supporting new and existing ETL processes on SSIS (Using Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and/or other applicable ETL product)
• Ability to write complex T-SQL and/or Polybase queries including views, stored procedures, and functions
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related course
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure computing platforms
• 5+ years of experience of high proficiency with SQL Server Platform, SSIS, and stored procedures
• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing or at least 5 years in unstructured data environments
• 2+ years of experience in big data technologies (Cassandra, , HBase, Spark, Hadoop, HDFS, AVRO, MongoDB, Zookeeper, or similar) 
• 2+ years of experience with Agile engineering practices
• 5+ years of experience providing technical leadership on relevant applications
