Role: Cloud Data Engineer Current On going project should be Healthcare Client

Location: Nashville/EST Remote

Rate: $55/hr. on C2C 

Experience 12+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Schema and Data Conversion: Use tools like AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT) to assess and convert database schemas and code objects to AWS-compatible formats.
• Data Migration Execution: Leverage AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and other tools to migrate data from on-premises databases to AWS with minimal disruption.
• Performance Optimization: Fine-tune database configurations, queries, and indexing strategies to ensure high performance
• Validation and Testing: Perform data validation, benchmark performance, and conduct testing to ensure data consistency and application compatibility post-migration.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure data security during migration using AWS Key Management Service (KMS) and setting up RBACs on the databases

 

Must-have:

• AWS Cloud native experience (Aurora and RDS)
• Database migration
• Scripting and troubleshooting
• 
  

Good to have

              DB2 Linux and SQL Server experience

              Python programming experience for building automation scripts

              Gen AI experience
