Position: QL Server DBA with Azure/Azure administrator (8+yrs exp needed)

Location: Bellevue, WA(Hybrid)

Type: long term contract

Rate: open

Position summary:

Minimum 8+ years Infra administration experience. Out of which minimum of five years’ experience in Azure.

Primary skills:

• SQL, Postgres
• Expertise in On-prem/Public cloud Infra assessments using Azure Migrate
• Working experience with various industry domains like banking, healthcare, Insurance
• Understanding customer Infra landscape
• Design and build Azure Landing Zone activities
• Migrating on premise workloads to Azure using Azure Migrate
• Troubleshooting experience with Azure & Windows environments (Processor, networking, clusters, IO, memory etc. related issues)
• Work with Internal stakeholders, Customer stakeholders and Project Managers to understand the migration requirements
• Validate Infra readiness and setting up the migration tools
• Perform Pre-migration, cutover and post migration activities
• Post migration validation test results
• Break-fix Support

 

Secondary Skills:

• RAID Log/register
• Document the lesson learnt
• Migration Execution report
• Identify Automation opportunities

 

Certifications (Good to have)

• AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
• AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator
