Skills & Qualifications
DWH and Teradata
· 7+ years of experience on Teradata and data warehouses.
. Advanced SQL Server programming and knowledge of data warehousing best practices.
. 7+ years’ experience on SQL Server Integration Services.
. Experience with SQL Server agent jobs.
. Advanced knowledge of OLAP technologies, and dimensional modeling.
. 7+ years’ experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting of ETL, and OLAP cubes.
. The ability to extrapolate database schema to meet the business needs of the application.
. Client-facing presence and excellent business acumen ·
Industry knowledge - preferably Retail or Telco.
· Exposure to Application Maintenance Support process.
· Management consulting experience · Project management experience working with big data technologies in the Cloud or similar technologies
· Experience working with various verticals (i.e. financial services, insurance, retail, healthcare, technology)
. Strong in Teradata and DWH technologies. . Responsible for Production support and health monitoring of the system along with configuration and testing of software applications changes. . Works collaboratively with business analysts, transportation subject matter experts and 3rd party software vendors. . Collaborate with internal application development and/or vendor teams when necessary to understand data needs to power analytic solutions. . Evaluates existing applications and systems. Recommends improvements or modifications utilizing current technologies and techniques. . Work with the wider team to create business value assessments based on the solutions you create. . Create assets and reusable best practice to streamline our responses. · Participate in fixing production issues and review of proposals / statement of works. . Help the lead architect create architectures and end to end solutions. · Understand the existing Business works framework and educate the team on the existing features . Perform technical reviews and solution assessments with peers · Plan to be part of production issues troubleshoot to have the correct RCAs. Also, troubleshoot issues for error handling and logging.
