Role : Java Support engineer 

Location: Bentonville, AR.

Duration : Long Term

 Requirements:

• Strong in Product information Management, SQL and NOSQL
• At least 3+ years of experience in Java/J2EE.
• Development skills required Java/REST/NodeJS/SQL/Hive/Python/Scala
• Experience in NoSQL database (Cassandra).
• Capable of writing Hive scripts.
• Debugging/troubleshooting
• GitHub repository
• Apache/Tomcat
• Basic log analysis to detect errors
• Very good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with customers and remote team members.
• Production application support experience highly desirable.

 

Responsibilities

• Handling Data request, data issues and sla management
• Design and develop Java applications to support data operations.
• Monitor the main applications for any issues and incidents.
• Perform initial log analysis and troubleshooting to identify cause of application issues/Root Cause Analysis
• Coordinate with other teams to resolve customer issues.
• Post solutions to the knowledge base
• Track issues/incidents using JIRA
• Send regular updates to the Business on the incident/request status
• Data Integrity checks.
