Position Title: PVE Test Engineer
PVE Test Engineering
For this position, you need to work with architecture, design, hardware and firmware engineering teams to build and execute SSD validation test cases. You have excellent communication, documentation, Python, and analytical skills. You have a deep understanding of NVMe SSD products.
Requirements:
-NVMe architecture development, design and/or test design experience
-Deep understanding of SSD architectures
-Deep understanding of NAND technology and architecture
-Deep understanding of SSD use cases
-Validated Python programming experience
-Deep understanding of logic analyzers, bus analyzers and digital scopes and how to use these tools to debug SSDs
-Education: BS or better in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
The following skills are also desirable:
-Ability to read and understand FW code.
-Ability to analyze and understand complex architecture, firmware, software, and hardware specifications.
-Ability to design and develop NVMe SSD test cases.
-Experience working in Windows and Linux environments.
-Ability to analyze problems and apply corrective actions.
-Work well in a team environment.
-Collaborate across geographic sites and time zones.
Your job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
-Build NVMe test cases to validate SSDs to design specifications.
-Development and review of SSD test cased and overall test plans.
-SSD failure analysis to root cause.
-Deep understanding of product performance against all test cases.
-Identifying and closing test gaps and test process holes
