Job description
Join an innovative organization as a ServiceNow Developer focused on Service Portal design. As a Service Portal Designer, you will design and deliver intuitively responsive self-service portals on the ServiceNow platform. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic technologist to join a rapidly growing team of talented developers. You will modernize the end user experience through the creation of APIs, Angular services, directives and tools that, in turn, comprise the themes, portals and widgets in Service Portal. With this technology, we transform HTML from a declarative language for static documents to an application platform using an intelligent framework.
Responsibilities Include
· Development of Service Portal themes, portals and widgets.
· Development of Service Portal using AngularJS, Twitter Bootstrap and CSS 3 Flexbox
· Design of pages, wireframes, stye sheets.
· Design and development of service workflows.
· Design and development of RESTful web service integrations.
Qualifications
· Typically has 5-7 years related experience in ServiceNow development.
· College Degree or equivalent work experience
· Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow administration.
· Strong experience in JavaScript, HTML, web design.
· Understanding of AngularJS and RESTful web services.
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Enthusiastic about emerging technology, automation, workflow optimization
· Excellent knowledge on creating and publishing Service Catalogs
· Knowledge and Experience on any of the below will be an added advantage
· Knowledge and development skills in vmWare vRealize Automation (VRA) and vRealise Orchestrator (VRO)
· Knowledge of Shell scripting
· BMC BladeLogic
· Puppet, Chef or other similar DevOps Tools
