Required Skills & Qualifications

• 9–12 years of overall experience in BI and analytics, with at least 5+ years in Spotfire development and architecture.
• Strong command over Spotfire features including custom expressions, calculated columns, data functions, and advanced visualizations.
• Proficiency in SQL or Python for scripting and data manipulation.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Strong analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in leading teams and managing project deliverables in an Agile environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data lake architectures.
• Experience with other BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead with deep expertise in TIBCO Spotfire to drive advanced analytics solutions for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen, leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills to collaborate across global teams and deliver impactful data-driven insights.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of Spotfire dashboards and analytics solutions tailored to business needs.
• Data Strategy: Work closely with data engineering and business teams to define data models, transformation logic, and visualization strategies.
• Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide junior developers, ensuring best practices in coding, performance optimization, and version control.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business users, analysts, and senior management to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
• Integration & Automation: Implement data integration workflows using Spotfire’s scripting (IronPython, TERR) and automation services.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize dashboard performance and ensure scalability across large datasets and user bases.
• Documentation & Governance: Maintain technical documentation, data governance standards, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
