Role: Informatica Developer

Duration: 4 months

Location: Falcon Heights, MN

 Visa Type: GC, USC or EAD’s

 

Must haves: Extensive PowerCenter, Informatica, and SQL experience

  

Roles/Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for the Data warehouse
• Perform data analysis activities to ensure comprehensive understanding of data sourced into the EDW.
• Define and maintain Data Warehouse Extract, Transformation Load (ETL) architecture to ensure data is available to support data related business needs.
• Development and Maintenance of Enterprise Data Warehousing business solutions
• Perform data discovery and analysis activities to ensure detailed understanding of source data and how it can be related to other data sources
• Design and develop data flows and data interactions in support business requirements
• Collaborate with System Administrators to ensure computing resources are configured and optimized to support the EDW databases and ETL Architecture
• Collaborate with the Business Intelligence Developer to ensure data base designs can be optimized in the Cognos Framework Model
• Ensure existing data flows operate efficiently over time.

Job Duties

• Work with IT Business Analyst define data business requirements
• Conduct data discovery and data analysis activities
• Scope, design and develop Informatica data warehousing solutions as prioritized by the Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Manager
• Perform system testing to validate EDW data structures and ETL solutions accurately support business requirements
• Ensure data load processes remain efficient over time
• Troubleshoot and maintain all data warehouse load processes
• Determine SQL Server Indexing strategies to ensure optimal performance
• Provide 7x24 support to ensure data
