The role of the Software Development Engineer in Test is to validate that all systems deployed into our Production Environment meet load performance requirements. Systems will include video streaming products, mobile applications and enhancements to current infrastructures. You will be involved with all products beginning in the designing stage and provide engineering guidance to ensure that all delivered systems will successfully be installed into Production and verified.
Responsibilities
• Design the load test cases and develop test scripts and execute using load test tools
• Development of enhancement updates to automated performance test framework(locust.io)
• Review project specifications and design load test plan to ensure the system meets the load SLA (Service Level Agreement).
• Monitor/analyze/catalog the results and ensure that our product hits defined target goals for performance
• Work with a team of system test engineers to identify, analyze, and document any defects discovered during test and verification cycles

Overall Purpose: The Software Development in Test (SDET) Engineer is responsible for developing tools/frameworks to solve complex software problems. Bake quality and effectiveness into the development process by assessing the root causes of issues and recommending test coverage and best practice. Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develop robust automation framework for mobile/web application testing.
• Build the necessary software/solution to execute and keep track of application quality and performance.
• Research and keep up to date to harden SDLC processes via new tools or implementing steps to increase stability and reliability.
• Debug large and complex codebase to assess the root cause of test failure, Code review and suggest test coverage.
