Developing a platform which is using Java and Spark
Implementation of Spark on Java
Core Java esp Java implementation is what they are looking for. Python based implementation candidate won’t work.
Must have good SQL queries and do data analysis (client has data shop-how the code will deal with data is important)
Skills Required: -
-10+ Years hands-on experience with Core Java - Strong object oriented design and development skills using core Java and Spring
- A good understanding of how to build multi-threaded applications utilizing a service oriented architecture
- A culture of incorporating unit test cases when designing systems using Junit/BDD - Working experience with SPARK based processing
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DEVOPS automations - Experience in relational database logical modeling
- Strength in querying large relational databases in an optimized manner
- Ability to write scripts in Shell/Perl- Excellent analytical ability
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Skills desired: - Risk/Financial Systems development experience Risk practice area- in Morgan Stanley, encompasses technology to mitigate Credit and Market Risk through various global systems and processes. The systems build in this space include Risk Data Warehouse for Market Risk Aggregations, Single Marks Policy Store, Grid computation for CVA charges, position keeper to source data for margin calling.
