Position Requirements
NOTE: The projects for this position will involve some Scrum (33%) but also more waterfall-like infrastructure projects that involve heavy use of MS project scheduling and vendor management (66%).
We need someone who can jump right in and take on the projects with little to no guidance on how to do the process of scheduling in MS Project and tracking projects in this manner vs Scrum.
Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or related technical field or equivalent work experience. (Typically six years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.)
Six years’ experience in information technology or business related activity, including two year in a senior technical/leadership role.
Master's degree preferred.
Project management experience; ability to understand technical and functional requirements as they relate to project objectives and project planning activities.
Knowledge of information technology terms, equipment, systems, functions and major vendors.
Effective oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
Effective interpersonal skills and customer relationship skills.
Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
