Must Have:
· Excellent applied statistics skills, including descriptive statistics, sampling, classification, clustering analysis, linear, non-linear regression and time series, etc.
· 4+ years of experience with applying machine learning techniques and algorithms.
· 6+ years of experience with programming languages for real-world applications within an analytical framework; strong Python experience required.
· 3+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, GGplot, Shiny, PowerBI, etc.
· Proficiency with tools such as SQL, Spark, Tensorflow, Keras, R, Java, etc.
· Comfort with Unix/Linux command line interface
· A degree in engineering, applied mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
· Great communication skills; ability to translate complex analyses into interpretable results both visually and verbally
· Intellectually curious and a critical thinker
· Strong and demonstrated interest in public policy or public administration
· Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) a plus
