Role : Big Data Engineer(Azure Cloud)
Location : Deerfield, IL
Duration: 12+ Months

Technical/Functional Skills:-
Azure Cloud Engineer - Level 3
• Experience designing and building cloud native applications as well as Azure Cloud migration experience
• Hands on experience in Azure, preferably data heavy / analytics applications leveraging relational and NoSQL databases, data warehouse and big data.
• Experience in writing Chef recipes, Cookbooks and templates,
• Experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services
• Project experience using Azure cloud, data lake storage, installation, security and infrastructure (IaaS) set up
• Experience with Big Data technologies ie. Hadoop 2.x, HDInsight, Spark, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, HDFS
• Experience with Informatica v10 Big Data Edition (BDE) or Big Data Management (BDM) for relational and non-relational data (formats like json, xml, avro, parquet, copybook, etc.)
• Experience building data pipelines using Oozie, Azkaban or similar tools
• Performance tune complex ETL mappings for relational and non-relational workloads
• Advanced SQL programming, PL/SQL or T-SQL, and ETL (Informatica)
• Unix scripting or PowerShell
• Azure Certifications (Solution Architect or Big Data) preferred
