Below is a hot requirement we have with our client and the right profile gets an immediate interview and closure.

We are in look out for a modeler and not a developer. We need people who have actually minimal developer experience but great modeling experience with strong SQL. They should have good understanding of OCDM, TD CLDM, Inmon vs Kimball modeling, data vault etc.

Title: Teradata Data Architect/ Sr. Data Modeler

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Duration: Long Term Contract

Knowledge and Skills:

• Expertise in Teradata Data Architecture.
• Be responsible for the development of the conceptual, logical, and physical data models, the implementation of RDBMS, operational data store (ODS) and data marts; mainly dimensional model
• Work with business and application/solution teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models
• Good knowledge of metadata management, data modeling, and related tools (Erwin or ER Studio or others) required.
• Experience in team management, business communication and presentation
• Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL scripts
• Good skill on various relational databases like Teradata, oracle etc
