Sr .Net Developer @ Charlotte, NC

Client: Cognizant/ MUFG Bank

Primary Responsibilities:

·     Design and develop scalable and efficient applications with concise, testable code

·     Design and develop C# Windows Service and RESTful Web Services

·     Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

·     Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders on requirements and implementation details

·     Adoption of best practices for test driven development and writing concise, reusable code

·     Work with a team that is spread globally to ensure that common goals are met

·     Perform system design and analysis; develop code to ensure successful and seamless communication among the various IT systems, business users and application components

·     Adhere to prescribed project management policies, procedures, and secure coding standards

Qualifications:

·     Solid experience in C# and .Net technologies with 10+ years of hands on development.

·     Strong experience in Asynchronous programming and Task Parallel Library. Advanced experience preferred.

·     Solid understanding of concurrency and multi-threading/multi-processing; Advanced experience preferred

·     Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles of object-oriented design.

·     Strong experience in the full software development life cycle of analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of various projects

·     Experience with .Net Core will be a plus

·     Strong experience writing .NET Windows services applications

·     Strong proficiency with persistence technologies such as SQL platforms

·     Strong experience in developing console applications and windows services applications.

·     Experience with modern agile software delivery practices such as scrum and TDD.

·     Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as TFS

·     Excellent knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

·     Demonstrated ability to architect, design and lead development of software components through production releases.

·     Have excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.

·     Ability to work independently and meet multiple deadlines and ability to prioritize and organize.

Preferred Skills / Experience

·     Experience architecting and designing systems in large and complex environments within the financial industry

·     Advanced technical expertise in architectural design, development and implementation in .NET technology stack.

·     Advanced technical, analytical logical and problem-solving skills.
