The AWS Engineer an advanced SME level position with 8-10Y experience requirement. The three specialty areas are AWS IAM, AWS Security, and AWS Networking.

AWS SSO / Azure AD SSO
• Authentication patterns (Automation)
IAM policy creation (Terraform),
Least privilege determination/Permission boundaries
IAM management at scale
AWS Security (tooling and automated deployment and lifecycle management)
⚫ AWS SecurityHub, Amazon GuardDuty, Azure Defender, AWS Audit Manager, Amazon Macie, etc. • Automated compliance testing using Audit manager
Config, custom conformance packs (creating conformance packs, config rules, policies aligning to governance frameworks)
Pipeline led compliance collection
AWS Networking
• Centralized egress/ingress infrastructure
⚫ Direct connect, transit gateway, VPC security groups, ANFW, WAF, GWLB appliances, routing, VPN. SDWAN (Zscaler)
Automation
Terraform, Terraform Enterprise (TFE), Terraform Modules, Terragrunt, GitOps led PR ingress • AWS CloudFormation, AWS Service Catalogue
• ADO Pipelines - automating terraform deployments and SAST (Static Application Security Testing) tooling, Cost Governance tooling
Python/Lambda
