Position: Sr. Java Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA

Must Have Skills: Java 8, Hands on Core Java, Spring Boot, RESTful Web Services, Agile

 

Desired Skills: Knowledge of CI/CD, SOAP Web Services, Build & Repository Tools, Code Quality & Coverage Tools

 

Job Roles / Responsibilities:      

 

• Resource will be senior Java developer collaborating with other teams in the portfolio. The resource will be responsible for architecting solutions for the different projects. The resource will also be responsible for evaluating new frameworks and tools.
• Experienced resource (preferably 10+ years of experience)
• Experience with architecting solutions (preferred)
• Strong knowledge in Java/J2EE technology stack
• Strong knowledge in Spring, RESTful web services
• Exposure to the different tools for Code Quality, Junit, Code Coverage such as Mockito, Cucumber, Sonarqube, JaCoCo etc.
• Experience in SOA web services (good to have)
• Hands on Experience with Build & Repository tools such as Ant, Maven/Gradle
• Hands on Experience with Application Server (as a developer)
• Hands on Knowledge of Java 8 (preferred)
• Hands on experience of Code management tools and the ways branching strategy works
• Acquaintance with GIT (Good to have)
• Hands on Knowledge of CI/CD process (good to have)
• Acquaintance with Jenkins or Similar tools
