JOB DESCRIPTION:
Client’s Payments teams are looking for a smart, dynamic and execution focused technical engineer. In an agile environment and with a focus on problem solving and teams efficiency, you will be responsible for helping Payments teams to remove their day to day technical impediments and you will assist Program Managers to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences like business partners, product and platform teams. In this role the candidate will work with different teams within PayPal like Payments, Program management, data centers, frameworks and tools.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
· Actively participate and contribute to remove engineers' day to day technical issues and improve their productivity.
· Find long term solutions and define processes to avoid impediments to occur again to help teams to execute fast.
· Play a diverse and far-reaching role in the organization and interact with program managers and business partners to recommend and implement technical solutions.
· Be the facilitator for the teams by providing them the right documentation, trainings and necessary support to complete their tasks and deliver in timely manner.
· Follow-up on day to day issues resolution requests.
· Frequently interface with Dev team members and infrastructure teams.
· Be expert in solving problems and building highly technical solutions involving state of the Art data center & development technologies.
Job Requirements:
· Excellent problem solving skills and come up with innovative solution.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in english
· Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
· Strong understanding of business vision, technical complex infrastructures and Understanding of end to end system architecture.
· Good expertise with Java/J2EE, C/C++, REST, HTTP, JS/NodeJS , XML, Selenium, TestNG.
· Ability to work with teams of different cultures and in remote locations.
· Knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows, Linux), Networking and Storage systems
· Passionate about quality, efficiency, automation and capacity to track technical issues until their resolution.
· Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and Scrum process.
· Curiosity for new technology relevant to assigned task.
· Ability to build strong relationships with teams across the organization.
· Strong time management skills and ability to embrace continuous self-learning.
