Position:: Maximo developer
Location: Saint Louis, MO (Remote)
As a Technology Lead, you will
anchor the engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process
consulting and problem definition to solution design, development and
deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of
the overall solution and guide teams on project processes and deliverables.
As a thought leader in Power Utilities domain across Work and Asset Management
processes, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You
will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability
building. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting
solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global
landscape.
This job requires the following areas of major skills and experience:
• Experience in Work and Asset management processes
across Gas and Electric Utilities
• Experience of Work Initiation, Planning,
Scheduling, Execution and Closure functions across Capital Work Management,
Outage Work Management, Planned Maintenance Work and Storms Work management
business processes
• Experience in IBM Maximo implementation projects
• Experience in distribution operations or
transmission operations
• Experience in capital planning processes and outage
management processes.
• Experience in any Analytics tool is preferable
• Understanding of the Standard Software development
cycle
Responsibilities:
Delivery –
• Provides solution defect fixes based on Functional
design
• Provide industry expertise on all MAXIMO Work and
Asset Management process areas. Provides input and recommendation on technical
implications of specific design solutions / Defects / enhancements
• Validate project design and communicate potential
issues and obstacles
• Leading business process design clarifications,
updating As build documentation and testing
• Manage client interactions and expectations;
demonstrate subject matter expertise, address client needs, provide value
propositions, and manage resource requirements.
• Manage individuals and teams; track and direct
performance against objectives, create an atmosphere of trust and
collaboration, and encourage improvement and innovation
• Identify issues, risks, and project team conflicts,
to develop a timely resolution in the area of Solution finalization
• Serve as liaison between client, project team,
development team, and other stakeholders
Mentoring – Guide other senior consultants, consultants and analysts in the
project by providing leading industry best practices and solution ideas and
helping them understand the nuances in this industry
Thought Leadership - To continue to develop and enhances thought leadership and
methods, tools and templates in the space of utilities Work and Asset
Management.
