Duration : 12+ Months

Senior Software Engineer- Core Java

We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer- Core Java to join our eCommerce team. The ideal

candidate will have strong hands-on core Java and Java Web programming skills, excellent

problem solving and design skills and ability to lead a small team of developers.

The candidate should also demonstrate a history of on-time delivery, excellent communication,

and a positive get-it-done attitude. Retail domain expertise and experience working in Agile

driven development projects is a plus.

Responsibility

• Development of complex applications

• Candidates must have a robust understanding of Java and an in-depth understanding of other

Java technologies, including Servlets, Struts/Tiles, JSP, JDBC, JMS, Spring.

• Flexible and works well as part of a fast-paced product development team

• Working with Cross Functional and Cross-Country teams

Minimum Qualifications

· 6 years experience with core java development

· 6 years Strong SQL skills, Unit test frameworks and Databases experience (Oracle

preferred) is required

· 6 years experience in multi-threaded server application development is essential.

· 6 years experience with application communication layer protocols

· 6 years experience with web services, application servers and database servers.

· 6 years of experience with Web-Services (REST, SOAP, XML-RPC, etc)

Good to have:

· Scripting experience (python, perl, etc)

· Experience with application communication layer protocols
