Job Description:
Hyperion Developer
Houston, TX (Onsite)
6+ months
No: H1B/CPT/GC-EAD
Will participate in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications. In this capacity, as assigned, to undertake such work as: Provide business analysis and programming expertise within an assigned business unit/area, usually as a member of a project team, in the analysis, design, and development of business applications.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage and support the Oracle Hyperion System 11 applications (Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and HFM)
- Develop and support powershell scripts for automated data load procedures for Essbase applications
- Support the data load processes through FDMEE for Hyperion Planning and HFM application and closing processes on the Support for m
- Support system patching and other systems maintenance, as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3 or more years PowerShell automation (for an ongoing project)
- Hyperion modules: 8 years or more with:
- Planning
- Essbase
- HFM
- FDMEE
- SmartView
- Prior Hyperion migrations background
- Performance tuning of Hyperion systems
- SSO enablement of Hyperion system
- Subject matter expertise in Oracle Hyperion System Administration
- Ability to maintain system stability, support multiple versions, and optimize the production environment.
- Proven experience in development, implementations, production support, and upgrades.
- Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems to solve business problems.
- Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
- Develop or modify application programs from detailed specifications.
- Code, test, debug, and document programs.
- Develop and maintain application interfaces, reports, conversion programs, and custom functionality.
- Identify conflicting business practices and integration issues, recommending alternative solutions
