Scope of Work:
· Want to work in an expanding and high-growth area like Automation?
· We are now looking for an Application Development and 3rd Level Support role primarily focused on delivering automations for MANA and global customers.
· Your main responsibility is to ensure, from a product (or group of products) perspective and end to end perspective.
· The best cost-effective design, the adequate technology evolution and ensure the consistency of the application and tools used.
· You will, also focus on minimizing the need for big improvement during its lifecycle.
· As an Automation Engineer (AE) you would automate the activities identified and defined in managed services delivery scope for a customer as per approved requirement and high-level design (HLD) document created by the identified authority like Automation Architect.
· The AE would be responsible for ensuring that the delivered automation provide the necessary functionality and perform in accordance to the overall requirements and to the customer’s expectation
Responsibilities:
· Be responsible for automation systems development, programming, and testing.
· Develop automation; keep abreast of latest developments in automation technology and introduce them to wide operations to achieve cost savings and improve productivity.
· Diagnose and repair bugs within production code.
· Contribute in creating high level/low level design (LLD) specifications and other documents.
· Coordinate requirements gathering and sign-offs, verifying with user representatives and stakeholders that use cases accurately portray business needs.
· Contribute to project plan and participate in all project phases
Key Qualifications:
· Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (Computer Science, IT, Telecom)
· 4-5 years’ experience with programming languages like Java, .NET, or PHP
· 4-5 years’ experience with databases like Oracle, MySQL or SQL Server
· ITIL knowledge
· Knowledge of Managed Service telecom operations practice
